A Case Study # 1
- Is the behavior atypical?
Lars' behavior seems very unusual and atypical. Even if I try to accept the fact that people with disorders are different, it is hard to regard their behavior as normal.

- Is it disturbing to the subject and/or those around them?
Everyone in the party seems to stare at Lars in a weird way. Nonetheless, they still try to communicate with him, trying to understand his fantasy. People start getting involved in Lars' imagination.

- Is it maladaptive or unjustifiable to themselves or to the members of their community/family?
To the community members around him, regardless of people who are aware or not aware of Lars' behavior, they all try to interact with him. Certainly, the family members would try even harder to find a way to communicate with him.
